My Glazed Expressions are primarily functional pieces using traditional shapes and contemporary glazes. However with inspiration from nature, textures and words, I'm continually working on not so functional pieces. I became a South Carolina Recognized Artist in 1998 leading to many artist in residencies. I have been teaching pottery for The City of Rock Hill for more than twenty years. Glazed Expressions are primarily earthenware. I use commercial glazes that I have adapted to create the results I desire. My pieces are entirely handmade. I roll slabs and coils by hand. Glazes are applied with brushes.  Though similar, no two pieces are the same. My pieces are food safe. It is my wish that you will enjoy your pieces as much as I enjoy making them.

Pieces in the gallery are generally one of a kind and intended to share. Some are already sold, others may still be available.
